New to the site. Having a Pirate Party the weekend before Halloween and I'm looking for some projects to make. I saw the cannon with the fog machine which I will try to make and looking forward to posting my ideas soon so I can share with the forum.

WELCOME to the forum from England , i did the pirate theme last year try having a go at a gibbet , i made one from strips of upvc plastic trim bolted together and painted black , heres a photo of it -

it took less than a day one Sunday to make , and i used a cheapo skellie and i just distressed his clothes and added chains and manacles to him , he looked great with a home made sign hanging from the gibbet saying hanged for piracy 1678 port royal .
