Hi! My name is Jason and I live in northwest Indiana (20 minutes from Chicago). I am a life long Halloween fan (after all, I was born on Oct. 31. Coincidence?). I have always tried and failed at decorating for Halloween, mainly because I put it off until a week before. This year I am starting early and living my dream of having the neighborhood terrified! My background includes a lot of tinkering and repurposing electronics, messing with electrical, and overall debauchery of all things mechanical. I would say I am a very "thrifty" person (ok, fine. I'm cheap), so anything that I can get for free and use I am all for! I will be posting plenty of pictures of my builds and welcome any kind of feed back and advice.

Thanks everyone and happy haunting!!

I'm a thrift builder too. Had the wind, rain, and snow, mess up a lot of my stuff over the years. This year we got smart and are hosting an indoor haunt. LOL! Otherwise weather proofing is a whole other skill use DIYers need to learn. HalloweenForumFriendly.jpg
