Now, as for using 1x2s instead of ripped 1x1s -- that should be just fine! The only reason I bought the 1x4s and ripped them down to 1x1s was to save some money. Go with what you can, and save money where you can, too!

Glad you like the build. I don't have time this year, but I'm going to build a new one soon that is a broken, crumbling mausoleum.

I'm not part of the 501st, but I've got some friends who are members. I'd love to join, but they don't make troops my size. Maybe on of Jabba's Gamorrean?

TK - I noticed you bought 1x4s and cut them into 1x1s. I don't have any way to rip them myself, so wondered if I could just use 1x2s or 1x3s? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance Looks like, if I counted right, that you used approximately 33 strips total for the frame - 11 1x4s ripped into 33 1x1s?

Yes, you can use 1x2 or even 1x3 if you want. I went with a 1x4 and ripped them down simply because I wanted it to be light, and that was the least expensive option.

Will there be an actor staged inside?

I never had an actor in mine, I just had a FCG that I lit with a green flood.
