I know there have been several threads about whether it is appropriate to hang a dummy for Halloween. I have no issue with hanging a dummy, but here is a CNN video about the stir it caused. Seems people were more concerned that it was a real person, and not so concerned that it was a racist message.

I have always done it in these parts and had no problem yet. But everyone here locally know I do these things at my haunt every single year. No surprises ya know..

People are so bizarre. I'm going to call the police because it is Halloween time, and there is a fake dummy hanging in a tree.. What?! Some people need to get a life!

I've been meaning to do this the last couple years. I just worry i won't be able to get it lifelike enough.

As bizarre as it might sound i would actually want the police to show up. I mean there's nothing they can do me for, and i'd take it down if asked, but it would be the sign of a job well done.
