Thanks icemanfred! That answers all my questions. While I was at Hallowindow's site, Mark mentioned this very cool tidbit. I guess I can call it a teaser. Mark, you give me no teasers, I make my own! Na!Okay here its what I found out:
Hallowindow
Yep, love most of all those suggestions too! I'm okay with the cartoony though. Got lots of little ToT fans that love it.My suggestion is that it needs to be "window specific" Things that actually happen "in the window", inside the haunted house. Maybe faces appearing and vanishing, spectors walking by, curtans blowing, or possibly a flying crank ghost (since the real thing is very expensive). Love the ghosts and the eye, even the monster in the beginning of Hallowindow I, looking out at you. Maybe things floating from side to side instead of up and down. Maybe just a bunch of glowing eyes looking around, blinking. I personally would like to see it less cartoony and more realistic, but I am asking alot. I wrote Mark with these suggestions but wanted to see if Im in the minority or not.
YEAH!!!!!Update: Things are moving along on Hallowindow III (2009). I've got a lot of the animation done and some of the audio has been added. There's still a lot of tweaking left to do as well as packaging and the DVD menu. I will be trying to set-up an option to play all of the animation on the DVD consecutively since so many people have asked for that option. As an designer I am concerned about the transition between separate animations so I may end up having to work out something to make them all work together. The way things are going I should be looking at mid September to start taking pre-orders.
Back to the grind.
The image bleeds through, basically. I recommend getting the white vinyl Walmart shower curtain. To, me, it looks great. Can someone tell me how this works? If the sheet is inside the house how does the projection show on the outside? Is the projector outside? Also is this and LCD projector that you could buy at work? I checked the web site but could not find very detailed info. Thanks any help is appreciated and sorry if it is a stupid question. By the way this is one of the most creative things I have ever seen!
I think that was me. The WalMart white vinyl shower curtain. The CHEAP one. Should be about $3. I needed two for the size of my window (just used clear packing tape to attach the two together):Hi, I remember looking through this hallowindow forum and finding a pic of the shower curtain used...does that pic still exist? Is the shower curtain better than a plain ole sheet...This is my first year doing this and I was wondering the best method from experienced hallowindow users!! Thank you very much![]()
