I'm wondering if anyone can help me out I have a friend that gave me this awesome Halloween decoration it used to be a plain brown but I touched it up for the face to show up a little bit more it's made out of spray foam three 5 gallon buckets PVC pipes for the roots and it's set up so that you put a fog machine in the back and the fog comes out of the roots of the tree the bottom bucket hold ice to make it ground fog I'm wanting to make 2 more of these and can't seem to find the instructions my friend says she found the tutorial on the Halloween forum. I can't find a forum that helps if anyone knows where the link to the tutorial forum or can give me any help. It will be much appreciated.

First of all, that is a good friend to give you that prop! I found a tutorial that might get you started. It is for a tree stump, but the technique could be applied to a whole tree. http://www.halloweenforum.com/tutorials-and-step-by-step/103804-tree-stump-3.html, here is another one that might be helpful. http://www.halloweenforum.com/tutorials-and-step-by-step/109371-my-haunted-tree-8.html
That is awesome the only problem is I won't be able to use that one because of the fog machine that one is made with a cardboard cylinder with the ice and the fog the moisture would ruin it and I like the idea of using spray foam instead of paper machet and buckets I won't have to water proof the tree
I dunno, but that's a cool tree. I'd LOVE to have that prop!
This is just my guess but I'd imagine if you stacked several buckets on top of each other & taped or glued them together you'd have the trunk. You'd have to take the bottom out of 2 of them so you'd have a column but it seems like it could work.

There's also PVC available in a really large size but I have no clue on the pricing but I'd imagine buckets are cheaper. Chicken wire would work also as a trunk.
