This seems to be passing me by I guess. My Ebay sales are nowhere near what they have been the last few years. I sell Vintage Beistle repros. Hopefully things will pick up soon.

This year??? I hope they're selling a lot of candy. But then, I'm not the general market.

I wonder what that total would be like if it included all of our "not-specifically-Halloween stuff" like hardware purchases, the small online vendors, the things I've bought on Amazon to use as costume or props, the stuff people buy from thrift stores, garage sales... but we'll never know, which is just an added layer of mystery I guess.

Tinaspaintedlady, that explains why you have such a cool avatar. I love vintage Halloween. And I've done more than my share to keep the Halloween economy going. I've spent over $600 on just what I'm passing out to the toters this year.

Thank you Scareme for the avatar comments and Screaming Demons I feel the same way when I walk into some retailers because I think I have some pretty cool things for sale on Ebay and I am wondering what is going on?? I purchased all of my stuff directly from Beistle and they were telling me that very little retailers ordered much of the vintage items, I was floored to hear it.

agreed to all comments I spent a good deal this yr on Halloween but not on Halloween specific item's as I built my hearse and horse, coffin and even some
lights from the Christmas stuff to light up behind my boarded up windows and yes they need more diversity in some of the Halloween items and more of it
especially this year

This and the Haunted House Attraction industry that is a $300 million a year industry in its self I bet they dont count them either

We spent far too much on Halloween Legos this year for part of our indoor display. They'll be cherished family heirlooms, right?

Oh no, they are retired. We spent several hundred dollars getting the whole set off eBay and amazon. It never would have happened, but we came into some money recently.
