I saw some posts a couple of years ago looking for info on THE HALLOWEEN SONG that they learned back in the mid 1960's in elementary school. I was probably your teacher, Miss Postal, back in Stoneham, Massachusetts. I still teach that song to folks today, and everyone still loves it. It is a "round" and impossibly catchy. "Witches, pumpkin heads and black cats, scary spooks and black bats, O it's Halloweeeeen"' Anyone out there remember this?
I learned it back when I was probably in 7th or 8th grade in Missouri! I loved it!! I'm trying to find the music for it. I've taught it to my grandchild, but I would love to be able to play it on the piano and do the round! Can anybody help me?
Did you get my reply? I learned it in Missouri when I was somewhere around 5th-8th grade! We loved it and I have taught it to my 10-yr-old granddaughter. Does anyone have the music for it? I would love for them to sing it at school, but I don't have any music.
