I used purple for veins and a mix of red and white for eye sockets. Over top of that I used amber shellac. The shellac adds color, seals it and gives it a wet look.
The skull is a cheap plastic one. I used latex to build up nose and eye sockets and a skim coat over the entire skull. This is a quick process from begining to end only took two hours.

Completed the second skull last night. The two skulls will be attached to two Skelly's sitting on a bench in the funeral polar scene.

YUCK! Was my first impression They look so slimy. I think they are fantastic!

(I just might have to add some more color and shellac to my ground breaker before next year.) I don't think I ever really complete a prop. :rolleyes::D
