I have decided to use a projector this year in my front window, origonally i was just going to use the Big Scream dvd's that I have, but as I researched this I discovered the Hallowindow animations, Window Creepers and a bunch more. I have found all sorts of cool stuff other people have created and shared or are selling and will be making a nice master video incorporating many different elements.

For those wanting to incorporate video into your displays, here are some links I have found useful.

You were copying the URL of his channel. I went to the URL of his video where you can post comments and stuff. Just copy the URL of the page you are looking at and then paste into your post. The software here will do the rest.

Need to add Vidscenes to the list as well, their 2009 and 2010 montages are similar to the Hallowindow type videos with nice short clips seguing into each other, perfect for short segments as different TOT's come up

I wanted to bump this and ask what kind of projectors are you guys using? I really don't want to spend too much.. 200 is the max; any suggestions? I could go a bit more than 200, but would have to be convinced... thanks

I use an NEC that I picked up cheap when a former employer went out of business. I've been watching used projectors on ebay on and off for more than a year. Bargains are hard to find IMO. You can take a chance with one that has a lot of hours on the bulb, but if you price the bulbs, you'll find most of bulbs alone are more than you want to spend.

Projectors are still in high demand. Considering that a few years ago they were selling for $10k+, I guess it's easy to understand why it's hard to find a good one under $200.

Craigslsit has been my better luck,Ebay too many unkowns & hassles. Locally found great deals, low bulb hrs & people selling things like this as they need to make some extra cash.......
& I can test & see the bulb hrs on the timer ! $200 is possible, 300 maybe closer.
Seems like If I add the cost of all my halloween SFX stuff & props over the years, I think I could have bought a private jet... LoL
I also think we spend more to entertain on Halloween than the companies make on all the candy sales ~ LoL

Great list. Thanks

I got TerrorVision from Atmosfearfx. It's OK, I'll use it. But for $70.00 its only 1 minute long.

I really like HiRez Designs Zombie Newscast.
$70 for a 1 minute clip? WOW.....

I have some in production, but they won't be available til 2011 unfortunately. Will keep everyone in the loop as things progress! I promise they will be very cool for your halloween haunts!

I'm looking for a little help as well with peppers' ghost. I'm looking for good media to project! I need a really scary looking demon/ghost that is attacking towards the camera.

I've looked all over and I can't find anything suitable and I'm not in a position to film it myself....

Any idea?

Rich B - thanks for the links!

I have the 3 Hallowindows (and I'll buy 4 this year) but I may have to get Window Creeps too. People really seem to enjoy them so I'd like some more. Thanks again!

I found this link, it says on the site: Our digital puppets are simply computer programs which display spooky characters on the screen, which you can control with your keyboard, a microphone, or a performance you record. I imagine it's been mentioned in the forum before. Not sure if it's really classed as projection videos as I'm not sure how well it'd run via projector instead of a tv or monitor
