What are some of your favorite movies to watch during the Halloween season?

Some of mine are Halloween(of course), Trick 'r Treat, Sleepy Hollow, Evil Dead, and Halloween 3(underrated).

If I was going to pick one movie to watch every Halloween, it'd probably be Trick 'r Treat (2008). However, I rarely watch movies over again. I usually try to catch something new (to me) for Halloween. Barring that, I shoot for anything that delivers that old school, gothic sensibility. Barring that, some good horror documentaries include Nightmares in Red, White & Blue; Horror Show (with Anthony Perkins narrating); and Terror in the Aisles. There's others, but those come immediately to mind. 馃

Universal Monsters: Frankenstein, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy
Arsenic and Old Lace (it takes place/couple marries on Halloween!)

Killer Klowns from Outer Space
The Ring
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil

Personally I'm a big fan of the original black and white classics.. The 30's/40's/50's stuff.. They just ooze that period much more. Anything with Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney, Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing.. The icons of horror. You get the idea.. I don't mind the new stuff as long as it's a good one. I like the Halloween films, and even a bit of Creepshow at times, but for true Halloween feel, I always revert back to the classics.

Does Saw count? On occasion I binge-watch the whole series. I still remember the first time I watch 13 ghosts, that movie freaked the crap out of me, really well done.

Not a gore, possession or sci-fi fan - but I'll watch a good classic scary movie any time of year. Lately, I've been watching those old B&W hokey horror/ghost films streaming online.

But for the Halloween season:
House on Haunted Hill (original), The Ghost and Mr. Chicken and It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown are annual must-sees.

I really enjoyed the new "It" and "It: Chapter Two."

They're on my fall watch list now.

I re-watched the 1990 original recently, that terrified me as a 9 year old kid. The remakes are much better.
