Just finished re-reading the book released on Amazon by Spats a few weeks ago. (I have read it about 10 times now) Absolutely awesome Halloween Story! "The Halloween Host: A Holiday Novel" is a fantastic distillation of why a great many of us love to haunt and why we adore _our_ holiday.

Oh and I would give good money to pay lip service to death the way the protagonist Arthur Brim does.

There are Trick, and Treat and the forum is mentioned in the book as well

Spats done good! I could easily see haunts themed on his stories.

You don't need a kindle, Amazon provides the kindle app for Windows, Macs, cellphones, tablets, you name it.

I'm surprised how many people read dozens of books a year on their cellphones.

However, lots of folks still like holding a book (myself included), so the paperback is currently being edited and formatted, and I am hoping to have it available this October.

So hold tight, it's a-comin'!

Wow. What a neat Halloween. I had a surprising number of sales, and lots of readers for a book that's only a few months old. I wasn't able to get the paperback finished by the big night, but it's still in the works.

For those of you who gave this book a chance and left one of those amazing reviews, thank you. Your time is valuable, and no doubt has a lot of demands on it. There are many ways to relax, and for many of you, reading may not be optimal in these hustle-bustle days, but if you read "The Halloween Host", I hope you enjoyed reading it.

May all the Senators feel welcome in your home. May the manifestations of Halloween ever be at your side.

Here's to next year, more readers and maybe even some artwork featuring The Halloween Committee.
