I have a couple Pinterest boards that might work (see signature), Scary tales and Disney Villians (this one esp.) that might give u some basic decor ideas. They're not steampunk but I think that's a great twist. I also have a Frankenstein/Mad lab board that although isn't steampunk has a similar vibe.
I would mash the two together, have the stone castle walls, faux arched windows and marry it with the aged industrial gadgets/wall panels. Almost as if instead of the Queen putting a curse on Snow White she locked her in the castle and tortured her and did experiments (again think Frankenstein).
After all, having Snow White chained to an operating table would make sense...cause she did want her heart...you could have medical diagrams of the heart on the wall, etc etc
