Since Halloween will fall on a Saturday decided to invite people over to become a part of my display. Told them to dress to scare and become my living props outside. They can do whatever they want be a part of my graveyard or be on their own. So far everyone is just as excited as I am. Usually my Husband is the graveyard digger and stands with a shovel in full dress by the tombstones and is also the controller of the fog. Every year kids think he is a prop cause he stands still when they approach him then at the right time he raises the shovel and scares the hell out of them. So it will take less time setting up and I will have live props outside. Once the TOTS are done then we go inside to eat and drink and carry on. Might still do the winking game cause that one is always a great one to do as it doesn't disrupt the night.

My kids worked at a very popular pizza restaurant in our area, and always did the Halloween decorating for the place. When their co-workers asked about their interest in Halloween, the kids told them what all we do each year, and most of them volunteered to come out and participate. This started about five years ago, and we still have 10-15 of these folks who come out each year to help set up, serve as "props" or serve as escorts for little kids who's parents are too scared to come up to the house. :)
