Green hair? You could be a fairy, which would be easiest and you could make it really awesome and fancy. You could be a female version of the Joker from Batman. Then, there is Polaris, who is an Xmen character. One of my fave green haired characters is Rydia...she is a character from the Final Fantasy video game series. There are many green haired anime characters, too, if you follow any of that. You could also just get creative and be some kind of plant or tree, a witch, a demon of sorts, an elf, a dragon...anything green.
Green hair chalk costumes that aren't mermaids?
I'm in Australia so there's no "real" Halloween, but there is this Halloween DeGhoulstation dinner I want to go to.
I have dark brown hair and want to use this dark green hair chalk I have in a costume.
Are there any characters/mythical beings/famous people who have that kind of hair (other than mermaids/Medusa)? Or will I just have to get lazy/comfortable and dress up like a mermaid's friend from Aquamarine?
I did a bit of an internet search before I came over here, but it's all either instructions on how to use hair chalk, or something about mermaid hair.
Has anybody made the costume version of that website where you list the ingredients you have and it gives you a recipe that you can make from what you have?

That's a better list than I could think of, thanks.
I was having trouble because I didn't want to colour my entire head - a temporary hair dye or hairspray would be better for that. I may use one of your ideas if/when I do that in the future.
I decided to go with Medusa. Found some small plastic snakes, so I'll put those and streaks of green in my hair, maybe just use some of the hair chalk as body/face make-up. I have a dress that would go well with it too.
