We all know that Party City has an open room in the back of the store, that sells Halloween merchandise year round. JoAnn's Fabrics will soon be, if they haven't already, selling cosplay supplies. My idea for Halloween stores, those that don't move each year, is to shift their attention to licensed merchandise, and things that cosplayers could use. They could still sell Halloween, but lean more to cosplay. If anyone has an affiliation to Halloween stores, mainly the bigger ones, please pass this along.

I could see that working in big cities, but cosplaying is still pretty niche. They'd be hard pressed to get buisness in smaller places just catering to cosplayers 10 months of the year.

I can see that. There are other times where costumes are need, outside of Halloween and cosplay. Plays, Rocky Horror socials, etc. When costumes are needed, they will come.

They should. The one near me does. In the back, on the right, where the fitting rooms are. Mostly costumes and accessories.
