What, no Glee thread? I mean, i know its sappy happy crap (most of the time) but i LOOOOVE this show!

I don't find it sappy or crappy. It can be very upbeat, silly and positive, and sometimes I'm in the mood for it. Even us very dark,surly types sometimes need to sneak in a moment of that. To me, it's not trite, and it's handled some very serious issues incredibly well.

I loved first seasons up until some of the original class graduated... and then I really lost interest. However, I decided to watch the Cory Montieth tribute ep, and it was incredibly well done. They didn't mention how Finn died- which I think is appropriate, As Curt said in the show, his death was one moment, what he cared about was the life that he'd lived.

From moment one it was genuinely tear-wrenching, however. I should have had a box of Kleenex ready.
