Hum, well then it could be like VMike said and it's the wrong fog machine for that timer or the timer is bad.

You could always hook up the fogger to a prop controller and you don't have to ruin your timer if you still have the original single push button remote from the fogger, it's easy to hook up to an arduino or if you want to spend more a picoboo and program your fogger how ever you'd like for it to go off.

If you have power to the timer and you can manually press the button and make it fog then you are close, I have done this hack several times, I also found out after several minutes of frustration that the center power button must be in the on position and the timer button must also be in the on position then set your timer dials to the position you want and wait. Note that the machine must be warmed up before it will fog and in some of the ones I have done the power to the remote goes away every time the machine cools down and starts heating again.

Ya I just tried again let it warm up lights came on on both the timer and the remote that comes with the fog machine. I than just sat there for at least 10 min and nothing happen just a little puff of smoke once in awhile
