I just checked the schedule for my local ABC station on Dish and it's not listed.

Agreed awesome talent on this show and most of us are familiar with their work. This should be interesting to watch!

Great, thanks for the heads up! I guess I'm clueless---I'm not familiar with any of those haunters. I loved the Christmas Light Fight last year.

I hope ABC didn't make these people decorate for Halloween in the middle of July or August.

Yes. Yes they did.

I know a few of my favorite haunters either decided to turn it down, or were snubbed by the show. It's a really grueling proposition. I understand ABC had a cazillion clauses in the contract... so that makes me admire the ones who made it through even more. I seriously don't know who to root for. I am SUCH a huge fan of three of the haunters that are on it.

(That does not mean the other three are not wonderful... just off the top of my head, I didn't recognize the description.)

I can't remember the last time I watched an actual over-the-air television show, but I think I'm going to dust off the idjit-box for this one.

Was checking out the other contestants that I was not familiar with... and I am loving what they do at Tee Lake Halloween. Looks like old school fun to me.
Now I'm curious about the last two.

If you look closely, you may see someone you know in the Haunt for the Hungry's footage (don't know how much will be shown), but I was lucky enough to get to 'play' with them this year and was part of the shoot. Can't give too many specifics, but they are an awesome group.
They are just a couple of blocks away from me in town.

Wow Hilda, we were practically neighbors. And I used to live in Waldwick, not far from Paramus.

I really shouldn't complain about any show that highlights the best holiday of the year, but I wish they would have done the competition differently.

I think the contestants may have spent $$$$$ in an effort to win. The competition shouldn't be how deep your pocketbooks are.

Haunting, IMHO, is more about the creativity to use tools and supplies with a limited budget to make something fantastic!

Oh my gosh... I've been searching Tee Lake, found them on flickr, and I love their haunt stuff. I'm even more excited for the show!
