Ghouls,

Do you all think that 10/10 is too early for a party? We sent out invites for 10/17, but that plan went to heck because of a wedding.

My other option would be 10/24, however this would mean missing my DD's school Halloween carnival (again), and we don't want to do it 10/31 since we're setting up for the TOT's.

I was considering scrapping the party, but we already have big banners printed. Ugh :(

Also, if we go forward, this will be my thread for updates.

Earlier is usually better.....

10/10 is not too early.....

You can set the bar for the area parties.....

Friends wont' be crushed for scheduling time(such as your frostiness).......

I see only the positives but then again, my glass is half empty...

Eh...whatever...

I did mine early last year too, be prepared...all invitees came and most of my sons High school band showed up too (and uh, they were not on the guest list, but they ate all the food which was good-no left overs to pack). When you do it early, no competition from conflicting events closer to 10/31.

Looks like I will upping mine to the 17th as well. The comments on here are really helping me decide between Sat the 17th or Friday the 23rd. I just feel a Saturday is a much better day than a Friday night ......
