I read an article about the house yesterday. It sold for more than the first movie cost to produce, so there's your reason. It would be cool to have a rundown old movie house, but would you keep it in that condition if you had the opportunity to sell it for a small fortune?It's nice but not for this house
Don't like the modern interior... but hey, saved it from complete collapse.
