Frankenstein's Monster Shoes.

I know it's early but I'd like to get a head-start on next years costume.

I'm trying to think of a suitable material that I can cut, stack & glue to the bottom of a pair of old work boots to use as the shoes of Frankenstein's monster. I was hoping for at least four inches. Something that's not too expensive. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Any suggestions?

Interesting question! I had zero clue how to do this so I knew youtube would be able to help!

And there's this too:

I've never heard of Evil Ted until now, I just started watching vids.

The first one seems easy &, while flip flops are cheap, I didn't like the look of those the way they were finished but it seemed easy, quick & light which is something to take into consideration if you'll be wearing them all night. You could easily put a covering over them like in the 2nd vids but the Evil Ted vids were a little more in depth & much cooler looking. I wouldn't have ever though to make forms out of wood or flip flops.

It was something I'd never thought about or searched for so I'm glad you asked. I went into the spiral of watching a vid about Frankenshoes to making armour, to helmets, it was interesting, fun & pretty useful if I ever need it.

How did people learn to do stuff before Youtube?!?:D:D
