As much as I try to get everything together in time for TOT- I always manage to forget one thing. Last year, I forgot to draw back the curtain in front of my FCG for the first hour of TOT. This year- I did better - I only forgot to turn on two Aldi's lanterns... disappointing - but npt the end of the world.

Did you forget anything this Halloween?

I forgot to light up about 6 JOLs, 2 glowing ToTers didn't glow because like the JOLs I forgot to turn them on, & I'm sure there were other things but I'm too tired & sore to try & remember.

Forgot to secure extension cords. Kids ran thru yard and knocked lights out twice last year. On another note I had display up 20 days and on halloween night 3 light chose not to work.

Forgot to use the glow sticks for the foggy areas of the haunt.

forgot to turn on fire and ice strings under the eves to help illuminate the severed heads hanger there, didn't realize it until it was all over,
and one fog machine did not work too well, ohh well I think it was still well liked, I hope

I have these 2 screaming tombstones that are sensor activated, forgot to put them out but after 10-15 minutes I remembered.
After that everything went pretty good. Nothing major.

I forgot to turn on the flood lights that allow the ToTers to see the cemetery fence until about 30 minutes past the time they should have been on. As a result, the cemetery was even creepier than usual for that time. Next year, I will be re-doing the lighting to not have to use the overhead white floods, as a result of this revelation!
