[treehouse of horror]

I am making some foam columns to go out side with my scarecrow I have all the plans but one problem came up. how to I stop them blowing away? for the last 3 day we have had mild wind its also taking up my tombstones

what can I do to secure them? they plans say to use lawnstakes but they well just rip the foam
what can I do? I need help

I put some 1/2 inch PVC pipes in the bottoms of my columns and drove some rebar into the ground. Then just slide columns onto the rebar. I did the same with my tombstones.
