Hi all- first time poster here. I searched on flickering lights, but couldn't find anything flood light related. I'm not super technical so please pardon my jargon, but the main obstacle I've found with flood lights, is that I can't find many adapters or flickering "tools" for three prong cords. I'm trying to set up my flood light and have it intermittently flicker on and off randomly. Anyone know of any hacks or tools or accessories to do that? Thank you!

Look up the flourescent starter hack. Not sure if it works with floods or not but it might.

It will work for floods. It will not work with LED.

Anyone know where I can get one of these at a reasonable price? I've found a bunch of $10-$20 adjustable duration strobe lights but a steady strobe is both annoying and not scary/creepy. I'm hoping to find (or make) a random stroke/flickering light white with both short and long pauses in...

It does work with LED bulbs.... try it....

It will "work" but the effect is different. LEDs fade out when they turn on/off so a flicker causes them to be slightly delayed. Non LED bulbs work much better.

Here is a pair of LED Bulbs (one Philips one Noma) on a starter.
They react differently but both are good....

To slow for my liking and a little unnatural. You can tell the difference but it may be enough for some.
