Fixing Foam Archway

Several years ago a friend of my mom, and fellow haunter, offered me several boxes of his Halloween decorations and props as he was moving and didn't have the space for all of it. One of the things included was a skull archway which to this day remains as probably one of my favorite props that I have ever owned. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my front door quite well due to the gutter being in the way. Two years ago I had it mounted and the top piece ripped off and broke. I want to be able to re attach it but I'm just not sure what the best way is to get it back together again. The arch is made up of a dense foam and was once rigged to have flickering candles on top, but the electrical parts have been taken out and filled with Great Stuff. Any ideas how to fix the rips in it? Don't want to have to lose it!

P.S. I apologize for my constant upside down/sideways pictures, it only ever happens to me on here! ;)
If the breaks fit together fairly tightly I'd use Gorilla glue. Just wet the ends and apply a thin layer of glue to one side then fit the ends together. The glue will foam up and fill any gaps. After the glue dries just cut and sand away any glue that oozed out and paint.

Cut a backing for it out if pink foam board. Make the backing the proper shape to fit your door, then glue the broken arch to it and repaint. I would use construction adhesive to attach the pieces.

Do you think the foam board would hold up if I screwed in some hooks to it to make it easier to mount to the door?
