Hello, first post here. I have been a reading the posts in this forum for years and appreciate all the creativity and ideas everyone shares. I thought I would share with you all my first attempt at a pose able latex corpse hand. I got the idea from another website while searching for pre-made hands to go with my rotten zombie head.

I made them with leftover household items:

1 each piece of 1/2 pvc pipe (cut to desired length)

5 each 14/2 home electrical wiring (cut to desired length)

1 roll of making tape

Cotton Balls

1 bottle of Spirit Halloween Liquid Latex

I learned a lot about working with latex. It's messy, cleans up easy, takes a few coats, and never again use newspaper to work on with latex. Any way, hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Thanks, the cotton and latex make for some creepy rotten skin. It was fun and an interesting experience. The hand reminds me of a Face Hugger from the Alien movies so I may try my hand at that for next Halloween.

Good job. I have not gotten to latex yet. I'm still in the wood fabbing stages of my haunt. I will be making an effort this coming year to expand my talents. I have been doing tig welding at work. So this will be helpful down the road.
