Has anybody set up the new Spirit Fire and Ice LED spot light yet?

Are they the same size of the lights from the last few years? I am trying to figure out if I should get 1 or 2.

I bought one of them and yes, I believe they are the same size. In terms of how many, depends on the size of the area and what effect you're shooting for. They have a pretty good throw so one might be enough if you're not trying to light a really large space/yard.
Awesome... "
Throw" was the term that I was trying to remember when I was first writing that message.
We purchased 3 of the LED fire and ice spot lights. One I used inside our fireplace(all set up and looking scary) it works quite well under the grate, with stark white bones on top and a "fried" red and black corpse. Very death like...... the other two are being used staked on the ground to highlight our "Hole from Hell display"! Two look really good as it covers the entire display.... one was OK, but two were much better!
Have they improved the motors from last year? There was quite a problem with them freezing up. Sometimes they would start up again after being left to run a while (warming up the lubricant, maybe? who knows?) but it was massively annoying, turning them off and then most likely they wouldn't rotate next time they get turned on.
Larry,

Nothing against Spirit, I shop there. However, eBay, water - dj- shimmer light. = $19 (roughly). I ordered one last year, received two by mistake. That being said, great product and good light throw. Ran it 3 nights in a row with no issues. Check them out. Cheaper too!

I just turned mine off because I bought them a few days ago and now they freeze up. I want my money back.

This thread is from 5 years ago, so it's disappointing to hear they're still selling malfunctioning lights.

You should be able to return them to the store or check online for how to return them if you purchased off their site. I know when I got a dud fogger (many many years ago) from one of the Spirit stores, I was able to take it back and get a working one, so hopefully they still have reasonable customer service.
Yeah, I've also had some trouble with infant mortality (sorry, that's just a term engineers use to describe equipment that dies early) on these the past couple years. If possible, I try and plug them in at the store before buying. And even then I still run them for a day or two inside before bothering to install them outside.
