Oy, that was a dark rabbit hole to go down this beautiful morning.

Rumors suggest that the owner of Kat's Creepy Creations is associated with this guy. Perhaps she got her bones from him, and perhaps not... the digging up of the yard makes me wonder.

Pennsylvania man Jeremy Pauley sold stolen body parts on Facebook: cops (nypost.com)

All the stolen body parts in his case came from bodies that were supposed to be donated to science, at first I was afraid they'd come from bodies that were supposed to be cremated. Makes me rethink my preference to be cremated. Doubt I'd know, but I don't think I'd want one of my leg bones decorating some stranger's mantle after I'm gone.

Over the years I've visited ossuaries, seen capuchin mummies, Odd Fellow Skeletons &
Catholic Relics. Those human remains were treated with dignity after death. But stealing human remains & exploiting them for profit is ghastly. Also having human internal organs (brains, livers, etc) is dangerous. Who knows what those people died from. It could have been contagious or infectious.

P.S. I don't want my leg bones used as a mantle decoration either.

I guess I'm the only one that wouldn't mind my bones being used in creepy dolls or some Halloween prop. I know it won't happen & probably legally can't happen, but I'd be OK with it. I do hope they consider my soft bits medical waste & dispose of them properly but since I won't be here to know or care I suppose it doesn't matter.

And of course after I click on the link & scroll down to see that PA dude...yipes, you coulda warned a girl he looked like a demon!! Life choices were very clearly made once he got those face tattoos & then sealed the deal with the spikes in his head.

God I hate that I think like that because I have tattoos, have friends with piercings & tattoos, etc. but there are people who need that next level of stuff & he certainly went there in more ways than one.

If you had asked me what a seller of body parts/grave robber would look like it may or may not be that dude, but I also wouldn't be surprised if you showed me his pic & stated what he did. I'd probably be "yeah that look checks out."

Sheesh, people like this guy is giving us legit, above board weirdos & oddballs a bad name!!

I love the idea of being mulched since I'm a gardener/plant person & thanks to Ask A Mortician I now know about it.

If that can't happen I'd be glad to have a natural burial without embalming, a pine box or even just a shroud. There are only so many cemeteries around here that allow it though.

UnOrthodOX, any preferences on how you would like you remains prepared for the Cannibal?
Broiled, Boiled, Grilled, spicy? Just curious.

Dealers choice. It's just meat. Though I think boiling could cause problems with the skeleton preservation if not handled right.
