So now that we are officially into Fall, it's hard not to look up and notice the moon. Unfortunately for us here, it was cloudy and we missed out on seeing the Harvest Blood Moon, and now won't be back until 2033 I believe. Darn. I did get this photo of the moon tonight and thought it looked kind of bewitching all the same.

Anyone get a good photo of the Blood Moon tonight?

No, but incredibly, we had clear skies in the Pacific Northwest, so I was able to watch it. Next lunar eclipse is January 31, 2018, but it will be in the early morning hours here...and cold...

Beautiful photo, GoS! We had some clouds here, as well, but was lucky enough to catch about a 3/4 deep orange moon with a sliver of a bright white smile.

We had torrential downpours all evening yesterday. Numerous flash flood alerts were going off, so sadly, I missed the moon :-(
But you got a pretty good shot - love it!

Awesome picture GoS! We were able to catch it here in the southwest. Many neighbors out standing in the street catching a view. For some reason, it didn't appear orange... I have caught other lunar eclipse that were a deep orange color, but it didn't appear that way in our location. Must have been some haze in the air to the east of us. Very cool sight though!
