Hello Fellow Haunters,

We just finished making a new entrance and archway for our yard haunt. We made it out of 2 X 2 construction and OSB plywood. We have painted it a granite grey so far, but it is definitely lacking some texture and depth. Does any one have any experience with tea staining on plywood? What would you recommend to add depth. The tea staining method works great on foam, I am just apprehensive about it not working out on our brand new build. Thank you for all your help and suggestions.

So long as you've got a good coat of paint on there - enough that the wood texture is lost somewhat - then it should teastain just as well as insulation board. Just in case, though, I would practice on a scrap first.
