As much a rant as a review...
Just needed a place to vent. Though not quite as bad as Craigslist (where literally half of the "Halloween" items offered for sale in the Boston area are pieces of clothing or other junk that have been posted for 2-3 years consecutively, I mean get a life people!) I am sick of Ebay.
I regularly check in there for Spirit Halloween props. Most of the prices are ridiculous and nothing ever sells. Rarely, something right-priced comes up and it sells quickly (which is why I check in regularly - recently got a Werewolf behind bars wall animatronic that I have only ever seen one other time, and bought for a good price).
But I see a lot of stuff on there that has been there for two years or more! There's a Spirit pop-up grave listed for $300 (plus shipping) that has been up for almost three years! I know because I passed on one in store and have been kicking myself since.
The same guy is currently trying to sell a small CARDBOARD countertop display box with no decoration for $30 plus shipping. I mean, come on! I would have to punch that person if I ever ran into them for all of my time they have wasted having to browse past their junk.
