Super easy/cheap project that's actually kind of fun to do!
I started with a piece of plexiglass only because I had that available. You can use foam board or probably even cardboard.
Using my embossing heater (a hairdryer might work as well but the embosser gets really hot), I crumpled and melted cheap plastic paint tarp (the fun part), glued it to my base (you could staple it also, depending on what base you have), spray painted it black and gold, then hot glued snakes, bugs, mice and plastic skulls that I got from the dollar store and dipped in monster mud.
I will probably leave it on my mantle but could easily put a hook on it and hang it on the wall...it's not too heavy.

Fantastic.

That looks just as good, if not better than an expensive vacuum-form mold.
Would work great for making a door surround or pillars too!
