I got this idea sitting in Chruch.

This is a simple as it gets for having a flexible but retracting joint. There are a couple of ways to actuate it. I’ll be using it on my old Wizard to add some movement. It will be connected to the motor using the same set up as in a Flying Crack Ghost. I’ll also be trying to adapt it to a pneumatic piston.

I have a prop in mind and I'll be using 1 x 2 instead of round.

Eloquantly simple!

I love it. Why overengineer something?

This has many possible applications.

CreepyCraawler: Now, I may be wrong, but here's how I think it will be done.
Picture an FCG mechanism, but instead of the crank pulling a string that lifts and lowers the ghost's head, it will pull the string that pulls the arm up and down.
You are right, Mr Chicken.

Using the FCG method you could attach more than 3 lines. I'm working on some thing that should be very interesting.
