We were driving somewhere and my daughter swears she saw a snowman set up in a yard.
Well dont forget folks...some forum members do keep stuff up all year round and put stuff up early - like september. To each his own madness...

Lol, I want to start decorating for Christmas too, but will hold off. Like another member stated, some people here on this forum start Aug 1(or earlier/leave it up year round). People decorating for Xmas now is no different.
Considering the OP and assumingly the early xmas decorators both live in Canada, I can only guess they are being smart and getting it out before it snows and gets really cold. If i lived there, didn't set up for halloween, I'd probably do the same.
That is horrible. On a quick drive by (as demonstrated by your somewhat blurred photo) It looks like some inflated dude dressed in white leotards and blue tights, legs spread wide open while a polar bear stands behind him.

LOL

Christmas be creep'n earlier and earlier...

I swear the Christmas stuff was set up in stores in August this year - and everyone who walked by it said "Christmas already!"
There are 2 houses in my neighborhood that have their Christmas lights up on their house and bushes already.
It seems like anything goes when it comes to Yard Displays. I once saw a Nativity Scene featuring Joseph, Mary, the Wisemen, obligatory farm animals including an inflatable Mickey Mouse.
As you will notice mikie and I are both from Ottawa. Confession time... It's my place and I'm skipping Halloween and going big for XMas this year. Never too early to start, Thanks for the support.

Hahahaha. You guys crack me up. :D
For me, even though I love Xmas too, I refuse to decorate before remembrance day.
