Not sure if this is the right place for this, but, I have a groundbreaker I bought from Spirit a couple years ago. I used it for the first time last year and it was completely lost in the mix. You can't see it at all. Any ideas on how to dress it up or make it stand out a little more? Should I just put a tiny spot on it? I bought it on clearance so I'm totally cool customizing it.

Hmmm... if he were mine, here's what I'd do to him:

I'd do some dry brushing of some coffee colored brown all over, and let that dry. Then I'd highlight with some more dry brushing of some pea green, maybe even some bright yellow. I did these colors on some cotton-ball corpsed skulls, and it turned out very moss-monster/jungle-esque, which I really liked. Your dude looks like that look would suit him, IMHO. You could even add on some moss like I did.

I might consider some GID squishy eyeballs for his eye sockets too, something like these - https://www.amazon.com/Fun-Express-...=1475091990&sr=8-5&keywords=halloween+eyeball

But no matter what, I'd try to have a light on or in his eyes.

As far as his vest goes, maybe you could dirty up a thrifted white tank top - burn some holes, shred the edges, slap on some mud & dirt - get it grimy but still with enough white showing that it will sort of highlight the prop so it won't blend into the background. I'd try to modpodge it down onto the prop so that texture still comes through - maybe even just use pieces of the white creepy cloth from Dollar Tree to sort of "glue" down onto the vest area. I'd also consider having some clawed hands near him to really flesh it out & make it look like he's climbing out of the grave.

These from Lakeside are AWESOME - https://www.lakeside.com/Home-Decor...rs/287v/prod1071043.jmp?categoryId=cat2280010

There are photos of them in my album, and if you search the General Forum for "LTD Commodities" or "Lakeside", I think I had a thread a while back about their Halloween decorations, and lots of others who have these cheap hands posted how much they love them too.

Just some thoughts! No worries if you go in a different direction!

So far my plan is to white wash it and maybe add some light gray highlights. I should have mentioned that I don't really go for the zombie theme but I truly appreciate the advice!

I really like the UV reactive hair spray + spot blacklight idea. How long will that last? I'm going to try it as a temporary measure. Is there something more permanent than the hair spray if I like the look of it?
