After seeing this I did a search of SpookyPlanet on BBB.org an guess what he dont respond to them either. They have had six complaints against themReport him to the Better Business Bureau. Believe it or not, it works.
I emailed Spooky Planet with an inquiry about a product. I metioned that there are some dissatisfied customers out there who have been waiting for many months for delivery, and what's the possibility of this happening to me. Erik replied:
"We have been in business for over ten years. Legal action has been made on many individuals whom are harboring these statements. Many are untrue, some are true - however these people refuse to acknowledge that we have attempted in many ways to resolve these issues. This includes sending refunds, credit and other products in exchange.
As you may or may not know, sometime we rely on third parties whom make the products. When these companies fail to produce product, we are left high and dry. Companies such as Scarefactory are one of these companies who did not deliver to any retailer this year including one of the nations biggest distributors, Morris Costumes."
Sounds like a "poor me" attitude. And taking legal action against a customer with legitimate complaint? Seems odd...
I will check these folks out if and when I buy another one.I never heard of these guys. I just checked out the site, and it has some cool stuff. But the prices seem way high. Check out http://www.hauntedprops.com for more reasonable prices and decent service.
