I used chicken wire for the body, wood and pvc form the frame, a styrofoam head, & covered the whole thing with mache. I deciding on the finishing touches. I might give it a layer of paste or go the corpsing method. I'll check out Spookyblue's site.
We're doing Atlantis next year and I am looking at creating something that feels like Rebecca Lousie Law's work (linked below) for the kids to walk through to the Temple doors. A combo of maybe blue yarn with fish and a "kelp forest"...
My theme for Halloween this year is Zombies of OZ. This is the Tin Man's head. I am using the Banshee controller from haunthackers.com with a Monster Guts 3-Axis Skull hardware. The head is made from EVA foam and will be further shaped, sealed and painted.
