While he thinks popping up and scaring party-goers is one hilarious joke, your guests may have a different opinion. This animated clown rises from the floor unexpectedly, while laughing at something only he finds funny.

Its a cool prop! I'll need to see it in person to know how I feel for sure. I wish it was more colorful.
Wonder if it'll be a pop up zombie mechanism or a jumping zombie mechanism. Either way it actually would be cool to have him pop up from behind something.
looks interesting! how big is it?

amk
That's actually really cool!
I like that the motion isn't what I was expecting when they first released the pic. I'll have to see it in person before I make any decisions.
That is rather unfortunate. There's nothing particularly wrong with that type of popup. I have one in a skeleton version and they have zombie popups like that too. In fact the one I have comes with a remote control as well to set it off and it was fun a couple years ago doing that. You can really time the scare well. But you have to really secure the base of the prop to help it last. I do that with all my tekky props anyway- it helps stablize them and that helps them last and not break. But, I was hoping the clown would be another version of the popup zombie mechanism- a much better startle and you could really get creative with him popping up out of a jack-in-the-box, or a large toy block, or even a barrel. But this one needs a bit of room when it lays flat so the best you could do is maybe put him behind a short wall. The sound track isn't too bad, but it doesn't look like his eyes light up which depending on your tastes, could be a good thing or a bad thing.
