Looking forward to the next 2 months. I built a dark ride for a Nightmare Before Christmas themed maze. I will post pictures soon. The cart is a 4 person vehicle driven by two quantum scooter motors. I am using the wheels to pull the cart along a (2x4) track that is fastened to some laminate wall sheets. The track goes together like big Thomas the train tracks. The cart is programed via an arduino uno and wirelessly controlled for dispatch and emergency stop/start. The project began well over a year ago, but unfortunately broke down on Halloween. I have since improved communication, exposed circuitry, and am experimenting with a new speed control system via long-range RFID. Can't go any further without the shoutout to this forum, and the select handful of DIY Dark Ride Operators, namely Don O'Neil, Brett C, and Maguir!!!! I could not have gotten as far as I have without you.
