Starting this thread just to give people a heads up
For the month of December

DEC- HALLOWEEN ORNAMENTS / ORNAMENTS

so for DEC craft of the month it is all about ornaments from Halloween ornaments to just ornaments that you make I know a lot of people do not mix the holidays so post up any ornaments that you make for this months craft.


this is about being creative and seeing what everyone comes up with its not a contest just to have fun. maybe even doing something you never tried before share ideas post up in progress or finished projects this will be fun

All of my ornaments are ready-made (and often black), but I am working on redoing a couple of small stocking holders that I purchased from the dollar store, which I will post when completed, should they fit the criteria well enough.

I have yet to finish the second stocking holder, but I will still go ahead and post the reindeer to give an idea of the sleigh version's original coloring, as I did not get around to photographing it before I repainted the piece:

Thank you, Saki. I almost have the deer finished, so I will add another photo of that once I complete it.

I like it, too. The finish gives it almost an antique cast-iron look.

Saki, I know I'm kind of pushing when you're in the middle of a move, but-- what is January's craft? I'm going to do my best to participate.
edit-- Never mind, I found it. Wreaths and signs, right? I had what I think is a pretty darned good wreath idea, but I didn't get all the elements I needed in time for this past Halloween. I can get going on it.
