Anyone got a good idea for a new craft group build? It's been kinda quiet around here and with no big holliday on the near horizon I would love to work on a new group build. Any takers?

I'm not sure....something like the past monthly crafts, but Saki and Hilda are usual the instigators of the group builds. What kind of decor are ya going with this time? That could be a fun idea to take one of the members themes and create items on that idea...hmmm!

I'm intending to go with a Medieval Castle feel, occupied by a smattering of Universal type monster characters. The (Frankenstein-type) lab is probably the specific area I'll do the most with. My intent is to do some lab and some scientific collections and projects. I'm hoping for a crypt in the basement (a place to go with some of the leftover bodies...)
I'm not obsessive about following a theme. I try not to use jarringly different styles, but I think it's fun to vary things a little. So, I'm open to doing projects that aren't in my theme as long as they're not completely different style.
You can lead, and I'll do my best to follow!

YES! I have some of that little Home Goods armor, but I'd love to try making a set. Are you thinking something like worbla? ...or maybe yoga mats?
I'd also like to do a stone knight on top of a tomb slab, so that material could be anything stiff enough to hold a coat of drylock.

OK I've found my inspiration!! I would dearly love to try my hand at one of displays done by Rogers Gardens. I absolutely loved the 2014 set up.

Wow, impressive display!
I've been mulling the idea over myself for quite a while. Just a couple weeks ago I bought a thin $7 yoga mat that I figured on using -- thinking it might be cheaper than craft foam. Maybe we'll try a variety of materials and be able to share information.

Glad to see some interest in this. i just got back home from vacation myself and can't wait to jump in. I'm working on a few paper templates now to get an idea of how things should fit together.
