After 2 years of being on this forum, I finally got the "huevos" to work with foam. I completed 2 tombstones and a pumpkin (he'll be painted orange this weekend), all out of 1" blue foam. I am amazed at how easy it was (and is) to work with. None of the techniques that I used are original, my main inspirations were from Terra and SKAustin (you guys are the best!). I have two more "stones" on the drawing board and I would like to try to make a "rot" inspired pumpkin head (24" x 19")...

Aren't we all!? I know I am... The pumpkin is AWESOME and blue glow is genius (even if accidental). It totally differentiates your decor by a landslide, until I make my own! You might even make the news with the blue pumpkins of San Diego County. The stones look great. You ought to let the self-criticizing subside this time and let it be.

They all look fantastic! I'm mulling over the idea of making my own tombstones this year as well and I gotta tell you I'm a little scared to try it. I don't think I'm talented enough to make them look great.
