I could use it for my mirror ball. I put red leds on the ball during halloween in my front room, would be cool to have the ball spin. not a bad looking price.

Do not use motor in windy conditions

:eek::eek::eek:

Do not use the motor for props in a breezy or, worst, windy conditions. The motor will draw nearly x2 amperage and begin to heat up.

Test: (as seen in the video)

(2) 10 ounce ghosts, 18 inches long, 6 inches wide
(2) 1 pound, 3 foot 1/4 fiber glass poles

Motor is rated 0.1 amp.
In the garage motor was using 0.04 amp (60% capacity)
Outside in a 5 mph breeze with 8 gusts, 0.19 amp (190% capacity)

Wind resistance is a big factor in selecting a good outside motor.

A digital ammeter was used to measure amperage.
