Other than what UnOrthodOx has said, I've never heard of anybody having any issues with Chauvet foggers. Once my 9-10 year old Target fogger dies out, I'll be switching over to Chauvet.

I've had a Chauvet hurricane 1100 for 3 years now and never had a problem. I make sure to follow Froggys instructions to clean when done and it runs like a champ.

I picked up two Spencers 700s this year. Got an incredible deal on line...I think I paid less than $80 total for two including shipping. They're physically small enough to fit in my horses and come with a timer. I like that they just blew out wisps of fog all night, so no refills. They're not blacket the neighborhood foggers, but they're great with individual props.

If you're looking for volume, I've got a couple of VEI 950s with the newest being 5 years old. They'll fog out the neighborhood
