Hi everyone, I built a cauldron creep last year and it turned out decent. However, it needs some more work to make it really great this year. I couldn't figure out how to get its hands attached to the stick without it looking funny. I ended up tying them on with some rope, which really wasn't the effect I was going for...they slid around on the stick as well. Any suggestions on how to get the hands on there the right way? I was thinking that maybe my motor was too fast as well, as sometimes the stick would jump out while he was stirring.

I used a heat gun to form the fingers around the stick and a small screw thru each hand to hold them onto the stick. I also used a PWM control to slow down the stir motor to about 6 rpms.

Thank you so much for your reply! Where did you get your PWM control from? (online, I'm guessing..) Also, what size screws did you use? I'm wondering if they would come out of the stick and hand after its been stirring for a while.
