I’m thinking of doing a twisted candy factory haunt. Does anyone have ideas for the different rooms? I don’t want it to be a Wonka factory though.

You have to have a Chocolate room... maybe making Chocolate dipped fingers and other delicacies?

How about a Cotton Candy machine room...big machine with a corpse positioned in the middle spinning around and cotton candy (spider webbing) being spun around it.

The cotton candy room could be a "squeeze room" - get batting (used to make quilts) from a fabric store, make a basic shape (I'd suggest using a oval/egg shape out of cardboard and then skin them with the batting) add pool noodles for the handles, spraypaint pink, then hang up from the ceiling. Could even embed a few skulls or even a spare skelly arm hanging out. Would look like cotton candy coocoons similar to Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Best to stagger them down a narrow corridor...

I'm going to post a few links to Halloween Forum's Pinterest that I've saved:

^use cardboard boxes to create the popcorn boxes for cheap, cheapy PVC (I've gotten some bendy blue colored piping from the hardware stores that would be flexible but supportive for an arch)

So all that oversized candy stuff could make a really nifty walkthrough room and the fun part would be to dip the candy in blood/spatter, or in some cases have eyeballs (instead of the giant paper plate candy, paint eyeballs and then wrap them like candy), do orange/black giant lollipops, top the ice cream cones with a cherry red "blood" topping or have sprinkles composed of bones... OH you could get some of those hairdresser's head models (the ones they use to practice styling/cutting hair) sometimes for real cheap on craigslist and then wrap THEM in the fancy cellophane wrappers... and of course there is ALWAYS adding a candy house and a nice old lady in a pointy had asking if anyone has seen Hansel & Gretel... :)

Could do a "children of the candy corn" setup too:

Get lots more corn stalks too make a sort of maze effect with some giggling kid voices on echo. Could make a nifty scarecrow and use candy colors for him too...

This thread has a few good idea too: https://www.halloweenforum.com/halloween-props/128379-we-revised-our-theme-any-suggestions-evil-candy-theme.html

You could have a twisted French chocolatier making chocolate-dipped bugs. Although you might get haunt-goers who like that kind of thing asking if they can have some of them. ;)

Thank you everyone. I’m thinking of having the following rooms.

Factory lobby
Chocolate room
Cotton candy room
Jawbreaker or gumball room.
Gummy bear room
Packing room
Tasting room

Anything else?
