I have several store props that are a mix of sound or motion triggered. All are powered by AA batteries. They are near each other, and I'd like trigger them simultaneously via PIR.

I happen to own a 12V 4CH Channel Wireless Remote Control Switch. Is there any way to connect the props to the switch so that it's triggered via PIR instead of the remote? I would prefer to wire the Try Me button if I could.

And if not, and I were to just stick with a single prop, can you take me through the basics of wiring the Try Me button to the PIR? (I assume the AA batteries are insufficient and I would use 12V DC power supply)

I'm almost certain you'll get a simpler answer (as I dabble in electronics but the haunt world is new to me)... but...

If you want to take advantage of your wireless remote, you'd want to follow a tutorial similar to this (to record and replay the IR signal from your remote). "righto.com/2009/09/arduino-universal-remote-record-and.html"

If you wanted to wire directly to your try me buttons, I've come to love the pre-made relay boards available on Amazon like this one: "amazon.com/SainSmart-101-70-102-8-Channel-Relay-Module/dp/B0057OC5WK" connected to most off-the shelf pir sensors and a 3.3v or 5v power supply (to power the relay board switch).

Honestly, if you can master the relay board like the one i linked to, the world is your oyster (I use several of them for my electronic ignition system for fireworks).

Basically, when provided with 3.3v, the relay opens the circuit (just like the try-me button) so it's a matter of creating a switching circuit that consists of a small power supply, the pir, and the relay with the relay controlling the try me button.

Again, hopefully someone has an easier way to handle this but that's how I'd set it up.
