Officially started the yard decorating today. Got the pumpkin patch basically done this morning. Will add a few more real ones when I carve them.

Will start on the graveyard after lunch. Will probably just get the fence up today. Finish the majority of it tomorrow. Will post pics as I go.

Monday I hope to get my "monster shipping and receiving area" done. ( large MIB, couple of signs, and some cages) . Then all I should have left is my witch with her cauldron. LOL. And people asked me what I had planned for my 3 day weekend.

Best part is I'm collaborating with my neighbor this year. He's doing a haunted garage, and we are creating a path between our yards. Get the feeling this is just the beginning! :D

That's cool when a neighbor gets into like you do. A lot of potential when there's two yards!

Ok- weather came in and didn't get my fence finished until today- so I'm officially a day behind. Looks like some late nights next week - but here's what is done so far.

New additions - corner posts for the fence.

My better half decided she needed to add a little ambience - and now she's looking for more dolls...

Set back today - wound up having to repair almost all my tombstones. Some issues with some weakened glue.

Wow sorry to see the damage, it is amazing how all of us have been tested one way or the other this year. Heads up there's time before the 31st, you can repair it.

Recovery operations begin today after work. So much for fininshing everything this weekend. Have to have it all done by the 23rd - because I'm gone to do special effects for a small independent film company that whole weekend.

I gasped when I saw the damage... Sorry to hear about that. But like Deadview said.... There is still time :)

You can do it MT! We as Halloween enthusiasts always find a way!

Winds have been whipping up here too. Crazy hoe that happens. Hope no serious prop damage!

Looks great!
Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I know it happens to all of us. My neighbor lost a brand new 6 foot tall inflatable pumpkin - kind of a high dollar item. One of the reasons I make my own - cheaper - and fortuantley I hadn't put out some of the new props I've been working on yet.

Going to need to stop at the Dollar Tree and pick up some more crows. *LOL* They flew away with the wind. That and 1 tombstone and a couple of styrofoam pumpkins. Nothing that can't be fixed or replaces fairly cheaply.

So - moving forward. All damage repaired and some more additions to the graveyard. Thanks all for the encouragement. Still some to do - but I take a day off work next week and I should be there.
