Hi All!

I know that I have seen this on here in the past, I just can't remember where I saw it. Someone had great wood looking boards, to put on windows. If I remember, it looked rather easy as well. I wish I would have commented on it back then, would have made it a lot easier to find now!

Any assistance you guys can provide, would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly doing a searc on pinterest is quicker and more efficient than doing a search here. And the majority of search results for something like "Halloween foam board window" end up linking back to HalloweenForum, in addition to giving you lots of cool options to look at.

This is what I got:
https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=foam window board halloween&rs=typed&term_meta[]=foam%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=window%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=board%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=halloween%7Ctyped

which lead me here...

It is very easy. This is the result of using insulation board, a $6 woodgraining tool from a craft store and acrylic craft paint. It is a quick and easy project!

I made this wooden door out of insulation foam board and i'm super pleased with the result. ill probably end up using the same tecneque for some window boards. I used a wire brush to get the wood grain and it comes out great. I love the painted version as well.

I have more pics and the videos that inspired me over on this thread kindos house facade 2016 haunt progress

Thank You Wolfbeard and Kindo!

Both ways look awesome.

Just wondering, did either of you do a tutorial?
